Computer Power Training Institute Incorporated was established in 2023 as a result of becoming aware that there are many talented people living in rural and outback areas that may like to become Software Developers but that are unable (for many reasons) to not access formal academic studies, like University or Tafe).

We are a Registered as an Incorporated Body and will soon be seeking to become an Australian Registered Charity with ACNC.

On a visit to Brewarrina, NSW, some local residents were asked if there were sufficient opportunities for people in town and was poverty / homelessness a problem.

The answer was frightening. Alcohol and violence were common issue and even if a young person had the talent to Study, accessing University was inhibitive from an economic viewpoint.

So, we decided to make a difference to NSW. We offer both, online training to people living in these areas and intend to provide relocatable training hubs that are fully fitted with the required I.T. Hardware to enable people the physical capability to learn skills in software development and then assist them develop an income via our Industry Partners.

We do this through developing relationships and support networks to enable our Participants to obtain and be paid for freelance development work.

This is a free service to all participants to help them achieve their personal goals. Overall, our vision is to reduce the occurrences of Poverty and other Social Challenges faced by people (young and old) in regional and outback New South Wales without them needing to leave their families behind.

This can be for locals with dependent families on a socio-economic level or people who are unable or unwilling to leave the family farm for studies.
