Eric Cesar Chavez , is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. He previously played for the Oakland Athletics (1998–2010), New York Yankees (2011-2012). Chavez has won six Gold Glove Awards (2001–2006) and a Silver Slugger Award (2002).
