Don Williams is an American country singer, songwriter and a 2010 inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame. He grew up in Portland, Texas, and graduated in 1958 from Gregory-Portland High School. After seven years with the folk-pop group Pozo-Seco Singers, he began his solo career in 1971, singing popular ballads and amassing 17 number one country & western hits. His straightforward yet smooth bass-baritone voice, soft tones, and imposing build earned him the nickname: "Gentle Giant" of country music. The piece is a 11x14 placed in a 13x16 vertical cherry wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 color magazine page of Don Williams is hand signed in black ink and is centered in a gray mat with black borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters "Don Williams Country Singer & Songwriter Inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) is from P.A.A.S #MF14733 enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes avertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 3 pounds.
