Don Was. Don Was (born Donald Fagenson) is an American musician, bassist and record producer. Using the stage name "Don Was", he formed the group Was (Not Was) with school friend David Weiss (David Was). The group found commercial success in the 1980s - releasing four albums and logging several hit records. Don Was has earned his recognition as a record producer and has recorded with an array of artists from The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, John Mayer, Ziggy Marley and among others. The piece is a 11x14 placed in a 13x16 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and brochure. A 6x10 cover page of the Guitar Center brochure with Don Was on the cover is hand signed in silver ink by Don Was and is centered in a black mat with white borders on the frame. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from JG Autographs is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
