Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider, nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963), and San Francisco Giants (1964). The piece is a 9 x 12 horizontal cherry finish wooden plaque. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 5 x 7 color photo of Duke Snider, hand signed in blue ink is placed in a black mat with white borders. A name card, is positioned below the signed picture, with the inscription in black ink “Duke Snider HALL OF FAME -1980 ”. The certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 03681 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. It includes a vertical plaque holder attached to the back. The plaque weighs 2 pounds.
