Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider (September 19, 1926 – February 27, 2011), nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963), and San Francisco Giants (1964). Snider was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. The piece is a 14x18 placed in 17x21 horizontal solid black wooden shadowbox with 4 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph, and photo. A black and white photo 8 x 10, and a beer can hand signed in blue ink, by Duke Snider is centered in a navy blue mat with white borders around the pieces. A silver name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Duke Snider" The Duke of Flatbush" 2-time World Series Champion 1955-& 1959 Hall of Fame 1980 ".
