Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider (September 19, 1926 – February 27, 2011), nicknamed "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62). Snider was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. The piece is a 16x20 placed in a 18x22 horizontal solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photos. An 8x10 black and white photo, a 5x7 black and white photo and a 5x7 sepia baseball theme card is signed by Duke Snider in blue ink and is centered in a royal blue mat with white borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Duke Snider "The Duke of Flatbush" 2-Time World Series Champion - 1955 & 1959 Hall of Fame - 1980. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from PAAS #MF13189 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 5 pounds.
