Marguerite Chapman was an American actress. Born in Chatham, New York, she was working as a telephone switchboard operator in White Plains, New York when her good looks brought about the opportunity to pursue a career in modeling. Signed by the prestigious John Robert Powers Agency in New York City, the publicity she earned modeling brought an offer from 20th Century Fox film studios in Hollywood. The piece is a (16x20) placed in a (20x24) vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. The piece is protected with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the authograph and photo.  A (8x10) black and white photo of Marguerite Chapman, and a cut card hand signed in black ink is centered in a black mat with brown borders around the photo. A gold name plate is positioned below the cut card with the engraving in black letters " Marguerite Chapman' American Actress”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from P.A.A.S, hologram # MF 15213 is placed on the back of the frame. It includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The frame weights 6 pounds.
