Carl J. Smith drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 5th round of the 2004 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 card is hand signed in blue ink by C.J. Smith and is centered in a burgandy mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “C.J. Smith Orioles Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Topps is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
