Robert William Andrew Feller, nicknamed "The Heater from Van Meter", "Bullet Bob", and "Rapid Robert", was an American baseball pitcher who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians. Feller pitched from 1936 to 1941 and from 1945 to 1956, interrupted only by a four-year sojourn in the Navy The piece is a matted 11 x 14, placed on a 13 x 16 vertical black styrene frame. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8 x 10 vertical black and white photo of Bob Feller, hand signed in blue ink, placed on a white mat with black borders around the photo. A name plaque is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink "1948 World Series Champion - Hall of Fame - 1962". The Authenticity of the signature is from James Spence. It also includes a vertical frame holder. The piece weighs 3 pounds.
