Lou Scheimer Production Cell, a pencil art of his genius cartoons. He was an American producer, one of the original founders of Filmation, an animation company, and also credited as an executive producer of many of its cartoons like Tarzan Lord of the Jungle, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and more. The piece is a matted 14x18 placed in a 17x21 horizontal cherry finish wooden frame, with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue conservation grade 99% UV protection glass was used on this piece to protect the original production cell. The piece includes a (10x12½) cartoon cell, drawn in dark pencil, placed in a navy blue mat with orange borders around the picture. Below the pencil art, there is a golden name plate with the engraving in black color "LOU SCHEIMER  Original Production Cell  Filmation Studios". The frame includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 4 pounds.
