Gregory Paul Bird is an American professional baseball first baseman in the New York Yankees organization. Bird was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. He had committed to the University of Arkansas, but signed with the Yankees.He was drafted as a catcher but was moved to first base. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 color sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Greg Bird and is centered in a blue mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Greg Bird Yankees Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS. The copy of the back of card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
