Henry Louis "Hank" Aaron, nicknamed "Hammer", or "Hammerin' Hank", is a retired American professional baseball player. He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) right fielder from 1954 through 1976. Aaron spent 21 seasons with the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves in the National League (NL) before playing for the Milwaukee Brewers of the American League (AL) for the final two years of his career. In 1999, The Sporting News ranked Aaron fifth on their "100 Greatest Baseball Players" list. He held the MLB record for career home runs for 33 years, and he still holds several MLB offensive records. He hit 24 or more home runs every year from 1955 through 1973, and is the only player to hit 30 or more home runs in a season at least fifteen times. The piece is a 12x20 placed in 15x23 vertical solid black wooden shadowbox with 4 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph, ball and photo. A baseball hand signed in blue ink, by Hank Aaron is centered in a navy blue mat with red borders . An 8x10 color photo of Hank Aaron is placed above the baseball. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in golden letters “Hank Aaron 755 Career Home Runs Hall of Fame 1982”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from The Score Board Inc is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the shadowbox.
