James Tague. James "Jim" Thomas Tague (born October 17, 1936) was a witness to the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. He received a minor wound on his right cheek during the assassination from the ricochet of a bullet intended for Kennedy. He is the only person, in addition to Kennedy and Texas Governor John B. Connally, known to have been wounded by gun fire in Dallas' Dealey Plaza that day. The piece is a 16x20 placed on an 20x24 horizontal black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue UV protected glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photos. An 8x10 color custom collage photo hand signed by James Tague in permanent blue ink is placed on a black mat with grey borders on the frame. The piece also includes an 8x10 vertical, color photo of JFK on the day of his assassination. A gold name plate is positioned at the bottom center of the frame with the inscription in black letters "James Tague -Witness in John F. Kennedy Assassination - Dallas, Texas - November 22, 1963.. The certificate of authenticity (COA) is from Professional Autograph Authentication Services, JG Autographs #1129605-49, is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the frame. It includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 6 pounds.
