Joan Lunden is an American journalist, author and television host. She was the co-host of ABC's Good Morning America (GMA) from 1980 through 1997 and is the author of 8 books. She began her broadcasting career in Sacramento, California, where she worked for KCRA-TV and Radio as co-anchor of the daily noon television news program. She also produced the noon news broadcast and hosted KCRA's television specials. In 1975, Lunden joined New York's WABC-TV Eyewitness News. Lunden joined GMA in the fall of 1976 as a feature news/consumer reporter, and later became fill-in co-host when former co-host Sandy Hill left to work on ABC's coverage of the Winter Olympics. Lunden's popularity with viewers led to her quick promotion to co-host with David Hartman. Lunden is currently the official spokesperson for A Place for Mom, a national senior care referral service. The piece is a 16x 20 placed in a 20x24 vertical cherry wooden frame. A clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 7x7 dedicated and signed in black ink is a black and white photo of Joan Lunden which is centered on the top of the mat in a navy mat with white borders. There are three (3) 2.5x2.5 color photos are on the bottom section of the frame. A silver name plate is centered on the middle section of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Joan Lundun Journalist, Author & Television Host Co-Host of ABC's Good Morning America (GMA) 1980-1997 & is the Author of 8 Books" The Certificate of Authentication (COA) is from PAAS #MF12665 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 7 pounds.
