Don Mattingly's hand signed photo. Donald Arthur "Don" Mattingly , is an American professional baseball first baseman, coach and manager. Mattingly is currently the manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball. Nicknamed "The Hit Man" and "Donnie Baseball", he spent his entire 14-year playing career with the New York Yankees. The piece is a matted 7 x 9 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and the photo. A 3½ x 5 vertical color photo of Don Mattingly hand signed in blue ink is placed on a black mat with white borders, on the plaque. A name card is positioned below the signed photo with the inscription in black ink “Don Mattingly The Hit Man ".
