This two hour intensive bootcamp will teach you how to edit with Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut Pro the industry standard editing software packages. You will learn the interfaces as well as the core principles of editing an effective video that looks amazing and take you from amatuer to semi-pro in less time then it takes to drive from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon.

Ok, so you just went out and shot some video, what do you do now? Upload it? Perhaps.... But, if you want your video to stand out, be engaging and look professional you will need to place your video clips on a timeline in a structured way and edit out unnecessary footage, bad takes, coughs, hiccups, eye rolls (unless you want them). And, then once your footage is organized on the timeline you will want to add some pizzaz, like transitions, special effects, titles, text, motion graphics and music. Finally, before the video is completed you will likely have to color correct your project and maybe even color grade it to give it a cool look.

This course will give you a basic understanding of all of these techniques. When completed you will know how to move around the software interface and lay out a timeline. In parts II and III you will be able to produce a video from start to finish.
