What is Fax Marketing?

Fax Marketing is a marketing system to send multiple faxes to individual fax machines promoting all manner of goods and services.

Fax marketing has been around for over 30 years but is still the most effective way to reach millions of potential clients with a low cost, instant promotion.

With the wide spread dislike of telemarketers, the harsh legislation on spam emails and the Do Not Call Register, it is becoming much harder to do simple, cheap and effective mass marketing. However, this powerful marketing tool can reach thousands in any area or targeted businesses for a few cents a page, and that is fax broadcasting.

Everyday,  flyers, newsletters, advertisements, and business cards are constantly being pushed onto customers who have become resistant to the whole concept, so how do you get them to take notice of your product or service among thousands?

Here’s how . . . cut through the sheer volume of the common marketing methods and use fax broadcasting to push your message out there and literally get the phone ringing in minutes.

Start Faxing.

As with all marketing you need just 3 things.

The product or service you wish to sell, in the form of copy and images that can be compiled in 1 page of A4 in black and white.
The list of clients you want to reach.
The means to receive the responses to the fax, either a website landing page or an inbound call center with enough trained operators to handle the volume.
How we can help you.

We have extensive knowledge on how to create an effective fax image plus access to a fax library with hundreds of successful images.

We have a web based search facility that enables you to do all your research on what areas or business types are available to you.

Having been faxing in Australia for 15 years and selling millions of dollars of product we can assist in your set up with pre-made contact forms, training on how to handle call overflow and how to manage un-subscribes quickly and easily.

How to identify your potential clients.

Are you marketing to other businesses (B2B) or direct to the public (B2C)?

By reviewing past sales you find out which type of business or persons have purchased from you before,  or if your product is a general one that appeals to everyone, then so much the better.

Despite faxes being primarily located at business premises they are still seen by individuals who still purchase for their own use.

What to put on your fax

You must have a compelling, limited, excellent offer that will grab the person’s attention and a simple means for them to obtain it.  It’s all about the immediate impulse to buy.

Ideas for effective faxing

– Sale flyer announcing your specials.
– A list of services/products you offer.
– Grand opening flyer.
– Business event or seminars you are hosting.
- Reveal a new product/service.
- Letter introducing you and your business.
- End of line or surplus clearances.

When you know what you want to send, make it as professional as possible.  Your fax image will represent your business and must be clean and error free.

Tips for getting sales through faxing:

Make it one page.  By using good spacing and layout your page can be skimmed, yet understood.

Offer special incentives to the businesses or public that receive your faxes; such as “buy one, get one free” etc.  With those kinds of deals, other businesses are bound to hear about them and request to be added to your fax list.

Include a discount coupon on the bottom of your fax and instruct them to send in the flyer.  Use the coupon code to get customers to buy off your site or bring it in to claim their discount.  This is also a great way to track how many sales you received through the fax.

The majority of businesses today still own a fax machine, in fact, with the growth of the new generation of  “all-in-one” printers the number of faxable  clients is actually  growing, so if you’re not taking advantage of this method  you could be losing sales.  If you do it right, you can gain an edge on your competition by getting to your customers instantly through faxing.
