 Simply put, Collegewise thinks that the process of finding and applying to the right colleges should be fun and exciting. It should not be a horrible, angst-ridden process that families just hope to survive. They show kids that they don't have to be tri-lingual, opera-singing rocket scientists to get into good colleges. Collegewise convinces them that they can actually do the things they enjoy and still be successful college applicants. Owner and Head Counselor Alex Weiner and his staff show families that the Ivy Leagues don't have the market cornered on great college experiences.

 A lot of families talk about wanting to get into the "best" schools. But when they say that, they are usually talking about the schools that have the most name-brand cache. Most students (and a lot of parents) forget to look for the right schools—the ones where the student will be happy and successful for four years.

 Many families like to come in and spend an hour with one of our counselors. This gives us a chance to learn more about their needs and answer their questions.
